i am back from my hall 15 XeViVe camp 2008 =)
and i am super proud to say that i actually survived!
DAY ZERO
intially i really wanted to run away.
mj n i were super sian-ed while waiting for the camp to start.
PYRO is my OG name (element of fire)
camp started with self introduction and some ice breaker games.
followed by bannar painting.
slept in the hostel for the fers time in my life.
and it was quite difficult for me to fall asleep because of the road light.
DAY ONE
POOL GAMES- din participate because of the 大姨妈. the weather was super super hot and the pool look freaking cooling lah. since not playing with them, i can only be part of the cheering team. and just as expected. we won all the games =)
CAMPUS WALK- at first was pretty sian-ed because as the name implied, it should be a walk. but our og was running. as a super weak runner, i can pull myself to keep up to them. XD
BLOCK ORIENTATION- seniors there are really friendly (esp the 头of blk 72- super SUPER funny de) went ah fang for supper together. =)
DAY TWO
DRAGON BOATING- it was extremely fun! was totally drenched but we enjoyed ouselves. splashing the water around to disturb other groups =）my right shoulder ached liked hell from the only one hour pratise. can see how difficult this sport is.
AMAZING RACE- the first station was EAST COAST =) felt really liked home when reached there. and as usual, i was running right at the back- tired and breathless. the games there were really interesting. take for example, NO NG 150 MINS. always see this game in taiwan variety show and it was darm funny when we had to repeat the entire game when anyone at anypoint made a mistakes.2nd stop is BUGIS JUNCTION. my shopping heaven. =) we were required tofind the items based on the photos took by the programmers. 3rd stop is fort canning gate. that place was really pretty=) ended the game at CAMP CHRISTINE.
the guys in our group were really nice. helped us to get food, pitch tents, carry stuff --> super gentleman de leh.
SP (SECRET PAL) PREVIEW. my SP is 杨过。and obviously i am 小龙女. when i heard my nick, really cun stop laughing. was blind folded so can't see his face. had to played games liked passing polo sweets using mouth. this camp simply loves to play such game lo. enjoyed the chat with him because we got common interest =)=)=)
DAY THREE
SURVIVAL GAMES AND FIELD GAMES- very dirty and tiring. but as usual, we won all the games =) wahaha. so proud of my OG.
had outdoor cooking. it was the most delicous meal we had over these few days. the guys were really good at setting up the fire and cooking the mee. my girl guide's skill apparently had no use. XD. and for the first time i do outdoor cooking. the instant noodle is edible and nice =)
INITATION NIGHT- dirty dirty and dirty. imagine all the soya sauce and all kinds of fluid =S it was freaking cold when we kena splashed by water.
DAY FOUR
BACK TO SRC but din join them for the ball games because of the welcome cermony for SBS. it was quite 无聊since i onli get to grab the goodie bag and went back le. met ys and han papa there. =)
Preparation for SP night. me n mj were totally clueless bout wad to wear =S
went to the BOTTLE TREE PARK =)
MY GOSH. the place is darm beautiful lo. i will really love to go there again =)
anyway. my SP is darm smart by asking us to show our hands. wah. the moment he saw my ring he knew is me le. =)
the performance was gr8t men. hall 15 ppl really can sing. and for the first time in my life, i saw live beat-boxing. very VERY cool!
went back to hall later and prepared ourselves for the fright night. super dun wanna go for it cause the nxt day i had to wake up super early for lab safety lecture =( and my SP had to leave early too.
the walk started onli around 4 plus. super heng my SP was around. was screaming non stop and he's there to calm me down. i noe the 'ghosts' were fake one lah. but still scare the soul out of me lo. =( felt really sorry for my sp when i stepped on his broken toe. can see how scared i am. and hor. through this game i realized how serious is my night blindness lo. totally cun see anything.
and mj actualli missed the walk lo.
DAY FIVE.
went to lab safety lecture and collect the matri card and the lab coat.
i was half asleep during the tok =P
finale game was ok and i enjoyed the pace we walked around in the school.
cheer fight was really late and i think our group really did our bests le. =) good job!
our guys were darm nice lah. girls only need to wait for the food while they prepareD everything for us =)
ha. not to mention my GLS(FUYI, WANYI AND SHIQUAN). they are really nice.
