Resort world with kimberlu and yihao(: few days back.

felt so in macau.

the hotels were pretty and we just feel like a tourist.

wanna go back there again.

and i wan to go UNIVERSAL STUDIO even if's just for the cam-whores

dun forget our XLB buffet XD

we can't help feeling boring since we grew up there.

it's nice to find someone who shared part of yr memory in the past.

Lantau IsLand

took the cable car up to the famous BIG BUDDHA.

it was raining all the way.

so the scenery was sort of misty BUT nice!

it wasn't that difficult to climb up the stairs.

had the vegetarian food for lunch and it was one of the rare vege intake we had

i insisted on finishing all the dishes.(:

Tai- O fishing village the next

tried the smooth dou hua and the fresh bbq dried seafood.

followed by factory outlets and mongkok shopping!

cheap cheap thrills!

and gosh. it tasted exactly like chicken. love it*

sat beside prof law during the lunch

and he's pretty funny at times. like a happy father.

so yup. we went waterfall trekking and kadoorie farm

me FINALLY attended the princess walk le.(:

the waterfall wasn't really that grand but good enough to make all of us happy!

the scenery on the farm was better than the PEAK.

it wasn't really a farm

more of a nature reserve for education purpose.

ICMCM conference 2010

this is the 重点 of the entire HK trip.

finally our poster is up.

quite sian when some of the things are mis-printed.

and sadly, not many were interested in our project

maybe because they had no malaria cases.

ck din even have a chance to present.

and everyone looks smart and nice in their formal wear!

one of the best presenters was from ntu and yup,

i have to agree that hes really darm zai in terms of presenting(:

after the conference, we went to the HK annual food fair

and we just kept sampling and eating.

super not paiseh one. XD

Baptist University

Chinese University of Hong kong

it was raining almost the entire day

and there was no bus catered .

so we had to take public transport

worse come to worse, we had to walk in the rain.

wad a wet journey.

we were invited to their herb garden(:

big scale compared to our NTU one.

and I realised their clinic was very similar to 马光's one.

Hong kong day1 ( + airport)

flight was 0640 in the morning so had to trouble daddy to fetch me there.

(: simply can't wait*

almost all my friends' the other halves came and sent them off.

while my pig head was in his dream land.

so so so jealous.

and i still hate flight.

worst transportation ):

JETSTAR really wasn't that bad.

In fact, i thought the ride was much smoother than the CATHAY one.

the pressure was too much for me to take.

first the pain in the ear

den went all the way down to the neck area.

totally no mood for the scenery outside even though i was sitting by the window seat. =/

YMCA salisbury- the home for the next 8 days.

it was next to the 尖沙咀 station.

making travel all the convenient. (:

and the room was better than expected.

lunch with the girls at the nearby 茶餐厅.

set off to the jade market.

most of the stores were already closed.

had 许留山's mango dessert. it was awesome!

temple street was very over rated i guess.

din manage to buy anything there.

and we know why it was called 男人街.

rows and rows of porn movies for renting. XD

late night spent on THE PEAK.

wanted to take the tram up but the queue was simply too long( minimum 1 hr)

so we decided to take a cab instead.

much much cheaper and faster.

scenery was still as breath-taking

but the place was too crowded.

hard to take pretty photos ):

din go the wax museum cox it was too expensive.

head down to the hollywood street.

but all was closed. zzzz

den the longest escalator in hk!

indeed it was.

in conclusion: lots and lots of walking today

nice ambience and nice food!

芋泥.

not a fan of this dessert. but their's was great!

not too sweet and very smooth.

insisted that his finger must be featured. haha.

beehoon is only SO-SO eventhough is one of the the MUST try there

this LORMEE is darm nice.

highly recommended!

i think i can easily finish the entire bowl myself(:

home made smoked salmon, garden of salad and cauliflower soup.

i have nv like raw food, so bf took all the salmons.

the salad was nothing special though.

maybe of the weird tasting dressing.

love the soup, better than i expected.

especially with the complement of the crunchy bread.

little potatoes are awesome!

pan sauteed yellow tail fish dressed with ginger tomato sauce.

rather different type of taste.
